Position Summary
Coordinates, plans, and schedules mid to large-sized number of Global professional services employees to specific client engagement projects within a defined geography or Practice. Partners with other Resource Managers to source and share additional delivery resources across for effective resource utilization. Collaborates in the development of processes and systems to track, identify, task and plan resources for project work.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasked with calendar, managing multiple disciplines including technology implementation, partner, and possibly hybrid maintenance support. Works with approved list of EMC delivery partners to ensure resource availability and skill sets.
Tracks all current and incoming projects and works with Project Management staff and Technical Delivery Staff to prioritize projects. Identifies available resources based on needed expertise, availability and location to participate on post-sales activities.
Fulfill resource needs by following a decision tree. Provides management a list of resources available. Monitors status of on-going projects to ensure appropriate resources are available.
Under management direction, contact designated partner to handle facilitation of resource availability & completes research and data gathering to help assess partners.
Maintains awareness of existing or potential customer escalation issues.
Maintain and/or be responsible for partner forecast working with the Program Delivery Manager and Operations Manager and/or Business Analyst. Maintain active development of pipeline resources.
Communication & phone skills required to coordinate work assignments
May perform other duties as required.
Experience and Education:
Fluent English
Organizational skills.
Cross-Functional skill.
Communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of German/French/other languages will be a plus.
